Hi, I’m Anne Marie Vandeputte, photographer of LIGHT, MOVEMENT, EMOTIONS & PEOPLE

I am a Belgian independent film director and a photographer. I work as an observer, documenting people and their passions. I steal most moments, using only natural light and without forcing people to pose or to act. My style goes beyond the typical “documentary style.” I love how painters like Vermeer and Monet depict light, how Turner suggests mist and movement, and how Hopper tells stories only by his settings.
